1. （Distribution box installation）Number of circuits
The ideal number of distribution box circuits (switches): 1+X+Y+Z——1 refers to the main switch; X refers to the number of rooms, used to control the common sockets in each room; Y refers to the number of high-power electrical appliances, used for Control each high-power electrical appliance (appliances that need to use surface-mounted circuit breakers or 16A three-hole sockets are all high-power electrical appliances); Z refers to the number of lighting circuits (2 to 3 circuits are used for more lamps, and generally 1 circuit is used) ).
2. Selection of the number of poles
Household circuit breakers are divided according to the number of poles, and there are only three types: 1P, 1P+N and 2P.
The difference is: 1P circuit breaker can only control the on-off of the live wire, and provide protection for the live wire; 2P circuit breaker can control the on-off of the neutral live wire at the same time, and provide protection for the neutral live wire at the same time; 1P+N circuit breaker is between the two Time - can only control the on-off of the live wire, but provide protection for the neutral wire and the live wire at the same time.
Just looking at features, 2P circuit breakers are the best, followed by 1P+N.
3. Function selection
The air switch comes with two protection functions, overload protection and short circuit protection (to provide protection for the neutral wire or the live wire, refer to these two protection functions). Other protection functions need to be increased by installing additional accessories.
